The market looks okay for futures now, mostly stuck in consolidation tho. I’m using my support and resistance strategy. Been eyeing the Arena-Z A2Z token on the hourly chart. Good liquidity and saw a market structure shift, so I jumped in. Anyone else got tokens they’re watching?
What strategies do you use for futures trading in a consolidating market?

A2Z? Really? What do you expect from it in the short and long term? Futures trading is all about short-term moves, but with those tokens, liquidity can vanish fast. High volume one week, crashing the next.

Sticking to low time frames here. Market’s too shaky for me, especially coins like ETH and BTC with their wild swings. My strategy? Just support & resistance, EMA, MACD... I can scalp even when things are choppy. But A2Z? Low volume? No thanks. Future trades need high liquidity.
You gotta pick your trades based on market signals. If you see signs of a rise or fall, go with it. But yeah, there’s no guarantee, it’s more about getting close to the mark with your guesses.
I’m checking out A2Z due to some fundamental news and price action... just placed an order on a low timeframe order block on BingX. Fingers crossed it goes up!
Honestly, I avoid futures completely. It’s too easy to lose everything if you’re not careful. Market can shift just a little, and bam, your funds are gone. Gotta be super precise when trading futures.
I think no token is safe for futures trading. It’s just gambling. Spot trading has risks, but futures can wipe you out. If you’re thinking futures, you’re gambling with your finances. It’s not fun, it’s stressful.
Futures can be okay if you control yourself. Stop-losses are key. A lot of traders hold onto losing positions way too long. If you can afford to wait, maybe it’s fine, but it’s risky.
Are any of y’all using indicators? I’ve seen some pros avoid them. I’m into EMA crosses for now, but I’m shorting new launches on MEXC. Good way to find my footing.
I’m out of futures these days. Just losing money and getting liquidated. Sure, there are skilled traders who know what they’re doing, but they’ve also faced losses. They learn from it, that’s how they win.

Nice call on the A2Z MSS! Good entry if liquidity and support/resistance match. But in a consolidating market, gotta be careful. Futures aren’t always safe, unpredictable moves can catch you off guard.
It’s tough out there. A lot of traders lose because they can’t control their impulses. If you're not analyzing charts properly, your losses will skyrocket. It’s not easy to gain profits.

Trading A2Z futures? It’s like gambling. Super volatile, charts don’t follow any predictable patterns. Stick with established coins like BTC or ETH if you want stability.
Support and resistance can work if used right, but couple it with other indicators like MACD or RSI for better results. Focus on a solid strategy and build your knowledge.

Futures are high risk but can be lucrative. Just gotta manage those risks well. That’s what you really need to study before you jump into trading.
Do you really think you won’t get liquidated trading tokens like A2Z? Futures are risky, especially with low-volume coins. It's hard to predict where they’ll go.
I’ve tried a ton of strategies, but my favorite is trendline trading with Heiken Ashi candles, mostly on 4H and 1H charts. Fibonacci works sometimes too, but trendlines are my go-to.

If you get liquidated, it’s likely because you ignored stop-losses. That’s not trading... that’s just gambling.
Not everyone uses stop-losses. Some traders like to manage their trades manually. Doesn’t mean they’re gambling. Even if you set stop-loss, you can still face losses.
Futures trading isn’t easy. It’s not for everyone. If you think it’s a quick way to make money, you’ll lose fast. Stick with spot trading at first, especially with risky tokens.
