Wondering about the fair price for an Antminer S21+. A buddy wants to sell me his for $4000, which is close to what I’m seeing online. Is that normal? The unit’s only a few months old, but I'm curious about new prices. Anyone know where else I can buy this miner? I saw some listings on AliExpress around $4000 too. The specs are 235 terahash if that's useful.

OP, if the Antminer S21+ (235 TH/s) is just a few months old and still under warranty, I’d say $4000 is pretty steep. Maybe aim for $2500 to $3000 instead.
True, he’s charging more, but shipping adds up. I’m still testing the miner out, and I might just end up buying from here if it works out. Appreciate the info.
Keep in mind, shipping takes a bit. If you buy now, you can start mining and making some cash.
Why's your friend selling it anyway? Sometimes these ASICs can have issues. I’d try to negotiate and check prices from legit stores. Selling to newbies is tough unless it’s heavily discounted.

Shipping costs can be a pain. altaitech.io is great if you’re in the US since it’s cheaper and fast. But if you’re outside the US, it’s a whole different ball game.
Yeah, I’m pretty far from the US. Closest is China, and they’ve got cheap shipping to Ghana. Shipping costs depend on weight, and these ASICs are heavy. Anyway, my friend let me run the miner for a bit before I pay, which is cool.
If you can test the ASIC first and pay later, that’s a sweet deal.
In my country, you rarely find offers like that unless you know the seller well. Lucky you!
