So, Kevin Warsh is officially the new Fed boss, right? Jerome Powell's out on May 15th. Maybe this is good news for crypto, especially Bitcoin.
What Does Kevin Warsh's Appointment Mean for Crypto?

Today’s Powell’s last day as chair? This usually leads to market jitters. Expect some volatility, maybe a bit of a dip. I think once Warsh settles in and rolls out new policies, we could see recovery.

Is it possible Warsh being pro-Bitcoin could actually affect the market? But it’s tricky. Just because he likes crypto doesn't mean he’ll enact pro-Bitcoin policies.
Not sure where this whole 'Warsh loves Bitcoin' idea came from. I know he’s big on investments, but once he’s in charge, he’ll likely be forced to sell those off.
Warsh’s past suggests he might not be super friendly with Bitcoin either. He’s all about tightening the money supply and high interest rates, which isn't really great for crypto.
It’s kinda nuts that we now have a chair who has actually dipped his toes into crypto. That’s a first. But yeah, he has to distance himself from personal investments.
Sure, but thinking any Fed chair would prioritize Bitcoin over a strong dollar is a stretch. National interest usually comes first, right?
It’s today, May 15, 2026. Warsh’s inauguration, and honestly, I’m not expecting big changes for Bitcoin just because of him. Fed just doesn’t care about Bitcoin that much.

The Warsh Era begins! Feels like a movie scene. But yeah, his wealth includes crypto assets, so maybe he’ll ease rates to deal with the national debt?

Powell wasn’t anti-crypto really. He just didn’t move with the market quickly enough. Warsh won’t focus on Bitcoin in particular but if he gets rates right, it could help.
Let’s not forget Trump had to divest his assets when he took office, but he didn’t really do that. It seems like there might be more behind-the-scenes deals at play.
True, Warsh might have to liquidate due to outdated views. That's old news from his time. And yeah, macro factors will decide Bitcoin’s future, not who’s at the Fed.
Media says Warsh is a Bitcoin supporter, but I think they misinterpret his views. Like, he called Bitcoin a warning sign for the economy!

He’s in now, and it’s Trump’s pick. Curious to see how his policies will align with Trump’s crypto vision. Trump seems to want to push Bitcoin as a strategic asset.

Agree with that. Powell had a neutral approach, unlike the ECB. He didn’t see Bitcoin as a threat, more like gold.

Trump was kinda frustrated with Powell's slow rate cuts. But those decisions involve teamwork, not just one guy.
It’s unlikely we see an immediate shift just because of Warsh. Crypto’s on its own path, independent of Fed leadership changes.

The Big Beautiful Bill really doesn’t change much for Bitcoin. Strategic reserves come from seized coins, not actual purchases.

Yeah, let’s not get too hyped for Warsh being a big deal. Everyone’s expectations are sky-high, but we gotta stay grounded.

Warsh’s appointment might not directly alter crypto dynamics, but at least it feels better than the previous administration’s stance.
