So VanEck and SolidX just filed for a Bitcoin ETF with the SEC, huh? I just read that they wanna create a fund that’s actually backed by real Bitcoins. Sounds interesting. Wonder if it’ll actually go through this time.

I’m surprised I hadn’t heard about VanEck before this. They seem pretty legit with $38 billion under management. But what does that really mean for us small investors?

I think this time they might actually get approved. The SEC usually rejects retail-accessible tools, but this one’s got a high entry barrier. They seem to think institutions make better decisions, which honestly, have you seen some retail investors? Yikes. But hey, this ETF isn't just about tracking prices, it’s backed by actual assets.

Hold up, are you sure about that $200,000 backing? That seems way too low for an ETF fund. I think it’s just the minimum investment amount. They're clearly targeting big players, not us retail folks. These funds don’t really pump new capital into Bitcoin anyway.

Just saw the SEC hit VanEck with a fine for not disclosing some influencer's role in launching their ETF. Seriously? A $1.75 million penalty for a company worth billions? Feels like a slap on the wrist to me.
