For sure, it's a smart move. By stating bitcoin won't be part of their ban on "virtual currencies", they set a positive example. Hope it boosts bitcoin’s price too. But, honestly, this forum feels a bit off for this convo. Should be in the news section.

They don't need to outright ban it. Regulating exchanges could do the trick. Russia’s also saying they won’t ban crypto, so expect more of this in the future.

Totally! The rich UAE is showing poorer countries how to let bitcoin be itself. Just let it do its thing.
You're right. It's a good sign that they’re keeping control over regulations. Being a global business hub, UAE's open stance is promising for crypto.
This is a big win for bitcoin advocates in the UAE. Looks like the government’s on board with bitcoin development.
UAE’s all about real estate and tourism now. It’s smart to allow bitcoin, especially for long-term stability beyond oil.
Great news! Not banning means more acceptance. Let's hope they consider implementing blockchain tech too.

If any institution bans bitcoin, they’ll just look scared and out of touch. They’d lose trust among users.
Banning crypto? That’s just dumb. It’s impossible to kill it. Countries that do this only end up hurting themselves in the long run. Glad UAE's not going down that path.

No ban on bitcoin, huh? Sounds like UAE's ready to back bitcoin’s growth.
Of course they want control, though. They’re probably nervous about bitcoin being unregulated and not profiting from it.

While I see the positives, I’m not interested in that region. Never gonna buy anything from there.

This is great news for not just Emiratis but also for people from India and Pakistan. A lot of untracked money flows to UAE. Bitcoin could make moving that cash easier.
Good announcement, but it doesn’t feel like UAE’s officially recognizing bitcoin yet. It’s a step, but not quite there. Who knows where it leads though?
