This whole crypto treasury thing is a total joke to me. I can't believe smart people are actually putting this out there. Just ask me how I really feel about it.

For real, it feels like some biotech companies are just pretending to care about health while they’re really just crypto funds in disguise. Transparency is non-existent. Either focus on healthcare, or go all in on crypto, but don’t mix the two.

Bumping this thread! OP is spot on, these companies are shady at best. They seem like scams targeting people who want some miracle cure. When the hype dies down, they just need more lies to keep the cash flowing.

So apparently, this cancer lab is just a front for a crypto investment fund backed by the Winklevoss twins. Like, how do these investors think drug development and crypto even mix? Seems like they’re just throwing money around.

Honestly, all these business ideas around crypto treasuries are just bad. First, it seemed smart, but now it’s just like they’re shooting themselves in the foot. Bitcoin holders are already struggling; I can’t imagine how those with altcoins will fare.

Check out Vanadi Coffee. They tried to adopt a crypto treasury model and now they’re in deep trouble. They doubled their losses after shifting to Bitcoin and closed five cafes. Just a mess.

Right? It’s like if Starbucks went crazy and decided to become a Bitcoin reserve company. Vanadi must have a big name to buy that much Bitcoin, but it’s just reckless.

Exactly! Their mission is to stop cancer, but all their news is crypto-related. Feels like they’re using the health side as a cover. People get lured in by potential profits without understanding the risks.

Saylro messed up big time. He created this scenario where companies shove profits into crypto to control the market. Even if his profits aren’t huge, owning a chunk of Bitcoin is wild.

#10Aug 30, 2020, 10:59 PM I thought Bitcoin treasuries were okay at first, but the whole altcoin treasury thing just blows my mind. Relying on centralized coins that are so volatile? That’s just asking for trouble. Plus, with Nakamoto selling Bitcoin, I bet companies will start cutting losses soon.
