Subaccounts or Multiple Exchange Accounts: What's Better?

I've got some subaccounts but honestly, I barely use any of them. I'm active on three exchanges, five subaccounts in total. Makes me wonder if they’re even worth having.

Totally agree, subaccounts don’t offer much protection. I keep funds split across exchanges. One exchange might go down but not all.
