Agreed, but if it’s a public Blockchain like Bitcoin, that would be a great step! Citizens could feel more secure knowing they can verify things.

Most of the time, they just want to look like they’re adopting Blockchain for transparency, but in reality, it’s just a way to control data without raising suspicion.
