Shenzhen is apparently going after crypto companies, identified like 39 of them as illegal. Crazy, right? This place is supposed to be the blockchain hub of China.

Honestly, I think the big players like Binance will be fine. They’ve got connections. It's the smaller ones that will feel the heat. Just how things roll in China, if you provide value, you’re safe.
Ponzi schemes just ruin everything for crypto. Scammers are always looking for a way to exploit the system. With China being pro-blockchain, these scammers think they can just run wild. It makes it even harder for legit projects.
These scammers really thought they could outsmart the government. Now they’re basically labeled as traitors. China needs to get its act together if it wants to embrace blockchain and keep scammers in check.

Checked out the article but no list of those 39 companies. I’ve invested in some Chinese cryptos not on CoinMarketCap. Anyone got more info to share? OP keeps linking to that site. Feels sketchy.

Your concern is legit. People are always gonna try to scam others. It’s sad but true. We just gotta back whatever efforts are being made to shut those bad actors down, even if the government’s a bit controlling.

Heard rumors about official licenses for exchanges soon. Anyone else catch that?

Source on that? Last I saw, Binance’s CEO denied a supposed exchange license and with China’s situation, I doubt they’ll let exchanges operate freely anytime soon.
True, the government hates when citizens scam each other. But if it’s happening abroad, that’s a different story. I support the crackdown on scams, regardless of how the government approaches crypto.

Feels like these illegal companies were already up and running before any government support. They're illegal for a reason. Classic greed, taking shortcuts instead of building legit businesses. Good that they're finally being called out.
