Anyone know how to get insurance for mining rigs against fire and theft? Is there even a company that does this?

You'd need a business insurance policy for that. But you gotta set up your mining as a legit business first. Then it’s just about reaching out to various providers to see if they cover what’s basically a data center.

Thanks for the tip! I’m starting a mining farm soon. Comparing it to a data center makes total sense for getting insurance.

If you're in the US, check out the section 179 deduction. You can deduct a lot of the miner costs since they’re key for your business. Plus, other expenses like your building and power can be written off too. Definitely a win for running a farm as a business!
