Nuclear Microreactors for Mining: Is it Possible?

The biggest mining farm in 🇸🇻 runs on volcano energy, handling about a quarter of the country's total hashpower.

Anyone think there’s a secret billionaire out there building a nuclear-powered mining facility? Sounds crazy but honestly, nothing surprises me anymore.

I heard of a cryptovault in the Alps. Pretty cool idea, right?

Why not stash some of these reactors on an aircraft carrier? Just a thought.

It’s geothermal energy, not volcano energy. Miners in Iceland were around before Bukele even knew Bitcoin existed. Plus, microreactors are limited to 20MW, which isn't huge.

I had no clue microreactors had such low capacity! 5,000 ASICs definitely isn’t massive. But imagine having a mini nuke reactor to power a Bitcoin mine.

Where can I snag a 1MW reactor? That’d power like 270 S21s and give me some serious hash.

Good luck finding one! Even if you could, managing one would be a nightmare. Better off with solar panels and batteries, tbh.

I remember Soviet subs lasted decades without needing fuel changes. Mining on one of those would be wild!

Westinghouse has a 3 MW eVinci microreactor, but it’s for military use only.

I can’t upload pics yet, but I drew some ideas about the future of mining. Also, there are definitely nuclear mining farms out there! An engineer told me nuclear is the cleanest energy.
