Hey everyone, kinda lost here. How do I use Electrum on my phone? I feel safer doing transactions on mobile, but I can't figure out sending or receiving crypto. There’s this weird request thing popping up, and I have no clue what it’s for. My friend knows the desktop version, but has no idea about mobile. Any tips would help!
Honestly the mobile version is pretty similar to the desktop one. If you've used Electrum on a computer, you shouldn't have too much trouble. Just a heads up though, some functions like setting custom fees aren't available on mobile, which is a bummer.
Wait, no custom fees? That sounds rough. I might end up overpaying in fees then. Thanks for letting me know, but I guess I just have to save up for a desktop then. Been thinking of getting one anyway. My space is tight, so not sure how that’ll work out lol.
Just to clarify, Electrum doesn’t actually have a web version, only desktop and mobile. When you want to receive funds, hit 'receive' then 'create request' you can leave the amount blank if you want. You can tell the sender what to send. You’ll see a QR code and an address to copy from there.
