Need Help Recovering My Bitcoin Wallet

Hey everyone. I’m trying to get back into my Bitcoin wallet, specifically to recover my private key. Been working on this for three years, and I lost access when I tossed out the computer with the wallet on it. I used the wallet back in 2011-2012 when Bitcoin was basically worth nothing, sending BTC to friends. Now I have around 200 outgoing transactions. Still hopeful though, I noticed some potential bias in the signatures I’ve been analyzing.

What wallet were you using back then?

I had Electrum, but can't remember the version since it was ages ago. As for the bias, I used GPT to look at my signatures from the blockchain, and it pointed out some patterns. I’ll share the details of the analysis, including the biases and shifts I found.

I haven’t yet. I’ll try, but proving ownership might be tricky. I ran more analyses with GPT, and it gave me detailed results on my signatures. I’ve got a complete breakdown with all the channels and metrics.

Did you check the accuracy of what GPT gave you? You can’t even run the code it generated.

I didn’t validate it through other means. The code does parse signatures correctly and counts bias bits, but it crashes on certain parts. I tried it on different platforms, but the error keeps coming back.

If you don’t have new info beyond what’s public, focus on wallets with bigger balances. You’re digging into a potential Electrum key generation flaw, but trust me, if there was something major, those in the know would've capitalized on it long ago.

From what I gather, Electrum hasn’t had RNG issues or bias when creating signatures, even in earlier versions. Just saying, if an AI claims there’s a bias, be skeptical.

Yeah, it was tossed like 7 years ago. A friend broke it and I kept it for a while, but eventually, it went to the dump. I’ve tried many ways to recover access, mostly through signature analysis.

You’re missing the bigger picture: if it was possible to access those Bitcoins without private keys, everyone would have done it by now. You’re probably out of luck.

Exactly! Just because there's bias doesn’t mean you can exploit it. Even if you find a flaw that slightly lowers cracking time, it doesn’t really help you.

OP didn’t say how much BTC was in the wallet, but I bet it’s significant if he’s been searching for three years. Why would you throw out the storage? If it’s an Apple, tough luck, but still.
