Looks like your transaction is toast, man. Invalid means it’ll never go through. Gotta ask, do you actually know the person who sent it?

What your buddy did is like saying he’ll pay you 100 bucks, showing you the cash, then giving it to someone else. Support isn't gonna help you. Best to talk to him.

Yeah I know him, but he’s pulled tricks in the past. Wouldn't surprise me if this is another one... I've never seen a transaction show as 'Invalid' in Trust Wallet. First time for everything, I guess. And he still swears he didn’t get the funds back.

It was valid when your friend sent it but unconfirmed. Then he spent the same coins elsewhere, making your transaction invalid. Rule number one: never take unconfirmed transactions.

He just sent me this screenshot... What’s this “Inscription” mean? And the balance doesn’t match up. He says he can’t send those funds. This is a mess and I'm not sure if I got scammed or not.

Pretty clear: that TXID doesn’t exist. You’re complicating things by using the same address. On Dec 1, it received two transactions. And seriously, Trust Wallet isn't reliable. All this nonsense about gas and inscriptions? Total BS.

So he did scam you. That 0.00082452 BTC is what that address has now, but he’s done other transactions, so don’t buy his story. He swapped your transaction and made it invalid.

Thanks a lot for the help! He’s supposed to give me his seed phrase tonight so I can check everything myself. But now he’s saying he can’t send the BTC labeled as 'Inscription'... I’ll keep you posted.

Lol what? That’s not how Bitcoin works! No honest person would act like that.

If he gives you the right seed and doesn’t empty the wallet first, you’ll only get the 0.00082452 BTC. Everything he says is nonsense. ‘Inscription’ isn’t a thing in BTC. You got played.

Ever heard the saying ‘Fool Me Once’? If someone pulls a fast one on you, chances are they’ll do it again. You really need to be cautious... If he hands over seed words, he could later claim you stole from him.

You’re saying he tricked you before and now this? Sounds like he’s scammed you again. I’m guessing he’s not someone you know personally?

Trusting a scammer again was a mistake. You need to be careful and make sure he pays you back with actual confirmed funds, not this unconfirmed nonsense.

If this guy’s scammed you multiple times and you still call him a friend, what would it take for him to be your enemy? Did you owe him something?

Watch out for what he sends next. He might try giving you a compromised seed or point you to a fake wallet that’ll mess up your device.
