Not exactly my win, but congrats to whoever it is. Makes me feel good just trying. Hoping luck hits my little setup someday, what do y’all think?

Totally agree, life’s too short not to take risks. Especially in mining. But gotta manage those risks smartly, you know? I’ve never solo mined or played the lottery, but maybe I should give it a shot.

Interesting point about NiceHash. Usually they go for pools that avoid KYC. Seems odd to me. But yeah, solo mining does have its costs.

Ugh, this is getting repetitive. We all know you need to mine a block first to get rewards, and it’s like a lottery with almost no chance if your hashrate is low. Plus, those electric bills pile up.

Actually, there was another solo miner who got a block recently. Super rare occurrence. Last year saw only 22 solo blocks mined.

Yeah, I get happy for others too. If you can't celebrate someone else's success, what are you doing? Good vibes will come back to you.

What kind of setup do you have? I’m thinking of starting my own farm too. But I hear equipment costs a fortune and it can be super noisy.

Look into it. Solo mining might actually be a better gamble than traditional lotteries. You can play daily without breaking the bank, just gotta buy that initial gear.

I’m using a Bitaxe miner. It’s pretty efficient, like 13 watts an hour. Cost me a couple hundred bucks, but I get a shot at each block.

Happy early birthday! Love seeing older folks like you into this stuff. You’ve got knowledge to pass on, that’s valuable!

For sure! Keep at it. You’re stacking coins with your s19 while trying solo too.

Heard there were like 36 solo blocks found in 2025. Crazy amounts, like over 300k per block.

Curious about solo mining costs though. I bet they’re higher than 10 mil when you factor in everything.

Right? If I sold mining gear, I’d probably hype it up too.

True, but some solo miners actually win. It’s rare, but it does happen. That’s why it’s called a lottery, right?

Exactly, lottery vibes. I remember reading about some solo winners before. There’s a guy here who knows the stats well.

Definitely do some research. The winning stats are out there. Most blocks are mined by those with higher hashrates.

So true. Check out -ck’s solo pool. The lucky ones with low hashrate are few and far between.

Yeah, expensive tickets for sure. Those who win are usually renting crazy high hashrates for days.
