I'm curious about what the cheapest Bitcoin ASIC miner is out there and how much power it uses in KWH. Any info would be awesome.

You should be more specific. There are miners that do like 500 GH/s and only pull 15W for around $40, but then you got others that are way more powerful and expensive.
The 1TB Bitaxe seems solid to me.
Miners in the range of 6-10 TH/s usually pull at least 50W and cost around $100 to $200.

A 6 TH miner doesn’t pull 50 watts. Think more like 12-15 watts per TH. You might find a 6 TH unit needing 85-100 watts though. Don’t know any that exist below that. A 10 TH at 50 watts? Nope. Maybe 140 watts at best, and it would cost you around $850.
Lmao, or you could just buy a broken Antminer S5 that doesn’t use any power at all. Cheap AF.
Cheapest is vague, you mean per TH or total miner cost? Without specifics, it’s hard to answer. What’s your apartment setup like? Noise? Space? Power?
Checked out some data and nothing fits your criteria. To hit 6 TH/s at 50W, you’d need 8.3 TH/s, but efficient ASICs max out at about 9.5 TH/s. The closest I found is the Bitaxe Supra Hex 701, it does 4.2 TH/s at 75W, priced between $180 and $250.
For more ASIC info, check this site. The Fluminer T3 and Canaan Avalon Q are good for apartments, but not cheap. A used S19 for $200 gives you 90-100 TH/s but it’s definitely not apartment-friendly.
I’d suggest checking out GekkoScience. Their prices are pretty good and the quality is solid.
This one looks decent GekkoScience Terminus A2Z 6TH. Runs at 5TH and pulls around 80W. Costs $380.
There’s a cheaper one from GekkoScience, the GekkoAxe GT 2XBM1370, does 2.5TH and is under $200. But seriously, no one’s making 6TH for 50W under that price.
I’ve got a down-clocked Bitaxe from GekkoScience, pulls about 13-15W and gives me around 0.90TH. Fingers crossed for some good luck on CKSolo.
Oh, I should mention I’m using a 100W solar panel setup for power. That Bitaxe Supra Hex 701 you mentioned is close to what I need.
You planning to charge a battery? A 100W panel won’t run a 75W miner well. If you're using a 100W panel to charge a battery for a 5V miner, aim for a lower wattage miner like the one I linked.
Building your own ASIC miner sounds interesting. Anyone actually tried it? I think it could save some cash.
You can solder it yourself, but it takes time and can be tricky for beginners. Most expensive part is the hashing chip anyway, so you’re not saving much.
An experienced engineer could do it easily. But a newbie would need a soldering station, which isn't cost-effective for just a few devices.
