Anyone knows a USB hub that can handle 5A (25W) for each USB port?

From what I've seen, the latest GekkoScience hub is pretty much your best bet for USB miners.
Not quite... Here's the deal: USB-A ports usually max out at 750mA for continuous use. They can go to 3.1A for battery charging but even then, they can’t handle that forever. Sure, you could push more through them if you monitor them and keep them cool, but it's risky. The only hub that really did 6A was Sidehack's Gekko hub, which had a different setup.
We should first clarify which USB version we’re discussing and what devices we’re connecting. Like, USB-C with TB4/USB4 can deliver serious power if the PD specs are right.
Just trying to find the best USB hub for my Compac F miner. I want to overclock it as much as I can. Just ordered the Gekko hub.
That's definitely the top choice for powering the F miners. It’ll let your Compac-F reach its full potential. Make sure to check out the Compac-F thread; there’s a lot of useful info there.
