Over 4000 jobs are getting slashed. They’re going from 10000 to less than 6000. Not in trouble though, apparently more profitable. Just sounds like they're cutting jobs because of AI.

Profitable companies cutting jobs? Seems crazy. If business is good, why not keep your employees? Seems a bit off to me.

Feels so bad for those workers. They’ve invested so much time in their roles, and now they’re just tossed aside. Shows that no job is really secure. Gotta have a backup plan.

4000 people is a huge number. But honestly, I think this is just the beginning. AI will keep pushing these cuts, but maybe it won't be as awful as people think. It might create new jobs, just like the Internet did.

Yeah, from a business viewpoint, it makes sense. If AI can do the work cheaper and better, why wouldn’t they go for that? Sucks for the humans, but it’s all about the bottom line.

True, it's about efficiency. All about reducing costs and maximizing profits. But it’s tough on the workers losing their jobs.

This was expected. If you’re in a role that AI can replace, you better watch out. Time to upskill or you might find yourself out of a job.

AI is taking jobs, but it’s also creating new ones. It’s a double-edged sword. We just need to adapt.

Companies exist to make money, so downsizing makes sense if it keeps the profit flowing. Might seem harsh, but it’s business.

It’s a smart move. They’ll save on costs and keep profits high. If they don’t adapt, they risk losing out.

I mean, it’s all part of capitalism, right? If you can do it cheaper with machines, you do it. History shows this pattern.

Exactly, companies aren’t here for sympathy. They’ll always choose profit over people. Just the way it is.

Not just about greed. They're transitioning to AI, which they see as the future. It's key for efficiency.

Seems like a slippery slope. If everyone keeps cutting jobs, who will buy the products? Gotta think about the economy.

Yeah, but if companies don’t cut costs, they risk going under. Staying profitable is key.

It’s just how business works. If they can get by with fewer employees or machines, they will. Simple as that.

But what about the workers? They can’t just be discarded like that. There should be some responsibility.

If a company can run better with fewer people, they’ll do it. It’s harsh, but that’s capitalism.

We’re already seeing it everywhere. AI is taking over tasks that used to need multiple people. It’s only gonna grow.

I read about this, and yeah, it’s tough. But it’s not personal. Just how the world is evolving. Gotta roll with it.
