Hey guys, I got a OneKey Classic 1s cold wallet. Everything seems fine but there's this weird issue. Whenever I try to receive Bitcoin, it keeps showing the same address. I moved funds from my hot wallet and it won’t switch to a new address for the next transaction. I’ve used the first address twice now, and that's the only one the app suggests. Same deal on the browser extension and the mobile app too.
Issues with OneKey Wallet Receiving Addresses

Looks like it just shows one address for receiving. I saw a feature request about using different addresses on their GitHub for nearly two years. It's still open... kinda weird. So, it might not be a bug but just how the wallet is designed. They call the other addresses 'Sub-Addresses' in their docs, meaning you can spend from them, but you can't really see them in the app.
Thanks for clearing that up! Just commented on the feature request too. Lesson learned: don't trust Bitcoin YouTubers too much and maybe skip OneKey wallets in the future. Super disappointing, honestly. What other corners are they cutting?
@andre and @helen628young I checked the app and found a workaround. You can create new addresses by adding new accounts, but honestly, it's a hassle for future consolidations. Just select your account from the top left, hit 'add account' or edit from the right, then pick a derivation path and how many addresses you want. Kinda clunky.
...and painful to manage later with other wallets. Better to use something like Electrum or Sparrow with OneKey instead of their app. Their client is full of quirks, honestly seems better suited for altcoins.
