Is Mining Bitcoin with a High-End GPU Still Viable in 2024?

Been out of the mining scene for a bit and thinking about jumping back in. Planning to build a sick PC with an i9 and a 4090 GPU. Is it even worth trying to mine Bitcoin in 2024 with just this setup? How does that stack up against multiple GPU rigs? Are there big differences in profit or efficiency?
