Hey folks, I’m thinking about getting a Bitdeer SealMiner A3 and was wondering if it’s okay to hand-carry it from Hong Kong to Indonesia? Thanks! Shen

You might be able to carry it, but weight limits on flights are tricky nowadays. In my country, it’s like 7 kg max for carry-ons, though some airlines allow 12 kg. The A3 weighs 15.5 kg, so that’s over standard limits. Best bet is to check with the airline directly to get the latest info on what you can bring.

Don’t forget about the size restrictions too. Carry-on dimensions are pretty strict. Just look up your airline’s guidelines.

I remember a few years back, I had no issues bringing an AvalonMiner 841 in my luggage from Beijing to Helsinki on Finnair. It was all good. Just confirm with your airline first, way easier that way.

Which version of the A3 are you looking at? The hydro model is 48 lbs and has dimensions of 28 x 28 x 14 inches, while the air model is lighter at 38 lbs, 20 x 18 x 12 inches. Both are kinda bulky compared to the Avalon 841, just a heads up!
