Looking at USB-C PD dev boards, not seeing any that combine power and data. Just feels like we’re trading one brick for another.
Is a USB-C Powered Miner Feasible?

You’ve got it, but think about the general use. PD adapters can go both ways, like charging from a phone to a laptop. Just not for this miner.

Yeah, the USB-C cable has a data pin for power negotiation. But for miners, it won't have a battery for backup.

DigiKey’s paper suggests USB-C PD is mainly for power, not data. So, we might still need two cables for power-hungry devices.
