Hey everyone, so the SpaceX IPO is happening tomorrow. I’d love to grab some shares but I’m facing a couple of hurdles: I haven’t been in the US for ages, no address to file paperwork, and I don't have a US bank account to buy shares online. So, I was wondering, are there any exchanges offering tokenized SpaceX shares for Bitcoin? Is that a solid plan or just wishful thinking?

Isn’t there something on CoinMarketCap that fits what you’re looking for? A few exchanges have it listed, but mostly with stable coins or Solana. Can’t find any Bitcoin pairs though.

Honestly, I wouldn’t go for it. I wouldn’t trust Binance for such things either. There’s no way that’s the same as owning actual stock. If the exchange pulls a fast one, you’re stuck, and the SEC probably won’t care. Unless the issuer is regulated, I wouldn’t trust them fully either. Plus, isn’t the IPO already overpriced?
How can you tell which ones are legit and which are scams?

I’m not too familiar with the premarket stuff, so do your own research. I’ll just share the exchanges I know where these tokens or derivatives are traded. If you check the charts, there’s info about whether it's a token, derivative, etc. I saw SPCX on Biget and Gate, and it’s on derivatives at Binance and MEXC.

I think going for it is risky too. Why not just spread your investment across other assets? Gold or foreign currencies might be better. I get that you don’t want to increase your crypto risk by buying tokenized stocks. They might pump for a bit but could crash later. Just my two cents, do your research.
OGnasty is keeping a thread updated about the SpaceX IPO, if you wanna check it out. I mean, there’s a lot of buzz about it. This could be huge, but it’s tough to predict how it’ll turn out. Hype usually attracts investors.

I honestly think buying SpaceX stock could be a smart move. If I were doing it, I’d prefer using FIAT instead of Bitcoin. Makes sense to diversify while holding BTC as my main asset. SpaceX is a solid project but with Musk involved, there’s always that risk.
Trust but verify, right? I’ve never used any of those centralized exchanges, and I’m skeptical of them. Even DEXs can be risky since anyone can list a token. Are the tokens on Bitget and Gate.io even the same? They seem to have different values compared to the first link you shared.
You can open an account with Interactive Brokers, the biggest broker out there. You don’t need a US address. I’m in Brazil and have an account there. Also check out Degiro, they probably have NASDAQ stocks.

In the premarket, the prices are quite similar across the exchanges I mentioned. They might align even more when people see the IPO price tomorrow. Like, $153 on Gate, and $162 on Binance perpetual futures.
I’m worried about this whole crypto crowd moving on to stocks. Feels like early Bitcoin adopters are now jumping into Tesla and SpaceX. Lots of cash is flowing from crypto to the SpaceX IPO, and I think it’s overpriced.
This IPO is getting massive attention. Major news outlets are covering it, talking about valuations hitting trillions. But I’m still confused about the tokenized stocks. Are we just mirroring the stock price?
Yeah, Binance and others are trading it. Honestly, it’s probably the easiest stock to buy I’ve ever come across. I’m looking for a tokenized S&P 500 ETF too but not sure which one is legit.
I’ve seen a lot of buzz about funds moving from Bitcoin to SpaceX. The hype is real, and people think it’s a once-in-a-lifetime chance. But considering the exchanges’ shady histories, is it really a good time to sell Bitcoin for SpaceX?
That’s the one I’ve seen on Bybit. But isn’t it like wrapped Bitcoin? It’s on the Solana network and called an "on-chain asset". I doubt it’s what you’re looking for. It could depeg from actual SpaceX stock.
This is an IPO, not long-term stock ownership. Shares are being dumped in the market, it’s not like traditional investing.
I meant the equity holders and employees getting stock options. I used the wrong term saying long-term owners instead of pre-IPO investors. Anyway, I’ll wait for the price to drop before I buy.
We might miss the SpaceX IPO, but at least it’s trading on Binance, allowing crypto users to trade for quick profits. Sure, it might rise initially but expect a drop when pre-IPO buyers cash out. That might be the right time to jump in for the long haul.
Kraken has it listed. I picked up ten shares at $177, now they’re $201. I opened an account with Robinhood, but it takes time to get approved. Kraken was quick since I already had an account. If the price jumps to $500 or more before Robinhood opens, I might switch.
