I’ve never used HTX, but if you’re flagged there, yikes. Moving large amounts and then getting frozen is a bad sign. How do they even decide what’s risky?

So the UK sanctioned HTX for ties to Russia, right? OKX is freezing accounts that arbitrage between them. If you’ve got money on HTX, you’re in trouble.

It’s totally unfair to freeze accounts retroactively. Just because someone used the platform a while ago doesn’t mean they should be penalized now. This is clearly pushing users towards certain platforms.

This is a nightmare for HTX traders. Now they have to figure out how to get their funds out without issues. It’s a classic reminder not to trust centralized exchanges.

Freezes by centralized exchanges are nothing new, honestly. If you use them, you should accept the risks. I checked HTX’s account, looks like they’re still functioning fine.

I feel for those with big funds tied up there. Ties to sanctioned partners are a huge red flag. They better sort this out quickly, or users are gonna pull their cash. Never leave your money in CEXs!

Not really classic, but yeah, we’ve seen accounts frozen for no real reason. We all know the risks but do we have alternatives? DEXs have been around, yet many avoid them for liquidity issues.

I think the third party they mention are analysts that flag suspicious activity for CEXs. They’re just trying to avoid AML issues, but it’s a mess.

Sure, there are options, but can we really ignore the convenience of CEXs? I need them for fast trading. I stick to Binance as it’s the biggest and seems more trustworthy.

Using mixers or noKYC is one way around this, but it costs some fees. People thought being on CEX meant low AML risk, but that’s gone now.

All exchanges are flagging Huobi’s wallets now too. If your money is on Huobi, good luck withdrawing anywhere else.

I saw someone get restricted on MEXC just after depositing from HTX. Feels like funds are being frozen due to UK sanctions. Watch your cash if you’re in HTX.

AML scores for coins linked to HTX are skyrocketing. Coins that were fine before are now rated super high risk. This regulation is just ridiculous.

You're basically screwed if you get flagged by that third party. But Binance and others are seeing the same issues. Customer service on these platforms is often lacking too.

Why not just freeze the hot wallet or shut down HTX? Funds tied to them are unusable until the heat dies down.

What about Tether and Circle? They could freeze funds too. HTX claims to be separate from the sanctioned Huobi, but nobody's buying that.

I don’t get why Huobi is being flagged. They’ve been around for years. These are the issues we need to prepare for in crypto.

That jump in risk ratings isn’t random. Regulators flag coins that interacted with HTX wallets. This punishments hurts clean projects too.

I saw a user on Binance get their funds blocked just for one transaction. This mass flagging is a serious issue.

Exchanges are putting accounts with HTX deposits under review. Expect to verify with selfies and ID. Users might be able to clear their accounts.
