Hey guys, I’m kinda lost here. Just opened my first lightning channel in Electrum, and it was connected to 10 nodes or so. But now, after two days, all the connections disappeared. Is this normal? Will it reconnect automatically? Should I share remote node ID for help? Thanks!

When you set up a channel, it's just between you and one node. Those 10 connections you saw might be Electrum servers rather than actual nodes. Have you checked if your channel's closed? You can use a block explorer for that by looking up the channel opening transaction ID. Sharing your node ID or TXID is usually safe, but keep an eye on privacy stuff.

Did you tweak any settings recently? Especially the trampoline routing option? That one can mess with the connection display in the GUI. Don’t stress; you're still online with the Lightning Network, just not seeing all those connections. Your channel is really just one-to-one with your chosen remote node. That “Connected to N peers” icon you used to see is just your node connections. So it’s not a big deal!
