I got this Nerdminer 2 USB thing and I'm using vkbit.com. But I keep getting this error: Address is not found or not active, try again in few minutes. What’s going on?

Need more info to help you out. Which device is showing that error? Is it the Nerdminer 2, vkbit.com, or your wallet? Did it ever work before?

Heard about the Nerdminer last December, but tbh I don’t think it’s a legit Bitcoin miner. The open-source code doesn’t clarify the algorithms it supports, so we can't be sure it’s compatible with vkbit. Check out this pool that supposedly works with it.

Thanks for the tips! I tried that nerdminers.org and it actually works! Here are my stats: Workers: 1, Best diff: 0.01, Hashrate: 61.4KH/s, Last share: 6/1/2024, 5:59:58 PM.

That’s cool, but your hashrate is pretty low. Most pools want at least a few GHs. Otherwise, they’ll think your miner is inactive since it takes ages to submit a share.

Yeah, your hashrate explains the issues with the VKbit pool. Many solo pools need over 1GH to work. The Bitaxe pool should do just fine with your setup.

Thanks! I ended up getting the Bitaxe too, so I’ll be using both miners now.
