Hey everyone, super pumped to jump into the Bitcoin scene! My team and I have been working on our home mining setup for quite some time now, and everyone keeps asking when we’ll drop a BTC version. I think the Apollo is finally ready for its debut.

Since this thread is official, I’ll throw in some user requests:- Can we get a unit-only option (no PSU)? A bunch of us already have enough PSUs lying around, so paying extra for that seems silly. Also, nice to see a distributor for the EU/UK, but shipping between EU and UK is still a bit confusing for me (I’m in the UK).

We do have a unit-only option for the standard hashboard, and yeah we’re adding the no-PSU option with the full package that includes the controller and SSD. I believe shipping between the EU and UK is easier now for stuff under 1k. Ordering through bitshopper should be cheaper than our site. Shipping will be around 40 bucks with FedEx plus whatever import fees apply.

Really looking forward to preordering one of these. They seem like a blast! Thanks for the update, jstefanop.

Big thanks to jstefanop for another amazing product! So, will bitshopper.de start sales at the same time as in the US, or is there a delay? I wanna make sure I don’t miss out once they sell out.

I think bitshopper sent an email saying their listing goes live at the same time. It’s midnight Central European Time, so be ready!

This looks awesome. I love the power-to-hash ratio. Do we know what the production run will be for the first batch?

Thanks for the info! They even updated their webpage to clarify. I’m planning to go for the version without the controller. Is it compatible with Raspberry Pi? And what software is it using? Normal bfgminer/cgminer or something else?

This looks dope! Would love to see a reseller in Au/NZ, I’d definitely buy then.

Honestly, with Brexit, it might be cheaper to order from the US and import to the UK than to buy from the EU now.

Glad the no-PSU option is included with a price cut! I’m curious too about shipping. I assume UK customs treat orders from the US and EU the same. Sounds like a toss-up on where to buy from. I emailed bitshopper.de to check since I don’t want to get hit with double tax. If I order from the US, I’d only pay once.

Most of this info is on the site. The processor is a 6 Core Cortex A72 ARM at 2GHz. OS runs on kernel 5.9, with an Ubuntu flavor. It has dual-band AC WiFi, so should fit in any setup. We balanced storage and price; 500GB is good for around two years of BTC storage, and it's upgradable. The controller has USB 3 for quick external SSDs.

Just got a reply: I charge ex-VAT for UK customers (export outside EU like to Switzerland). I’ll add a customs declaration. You might get hit with import VAT locally since the amount will be over 400 GBP.

I received a similar response. So it really comes down to shipping costs from each continent. As far as I know, those costs factor into duty calculations.

The blue SBC board model looks a lot like an Orange Pi 4. If it is, does that come with the onboard microphone still attached?

Order #3416, so it seems like there are at least 24 buyers already. I got the full setup.

I’m in at #3410. Hey jstefanop, random question, if my shipping address changes after May, how hard is it to update that? My house is on the market, and there’s a chance I won't be there after late May. Also, is the controller a custom part or an off-the-shelf item?
