I don't trust analysts fully, but I gotta bring this up. I've been watching Ethereum lately and it's pretty concerning.

People on Polymarket are betting Ethereum's market cap could drop below that of USDT. Crazy, right? This analyst hints it might really happen.

A drop to $1.2k would be a massive 40% loss. If ETH drops that hard, Bitcoin could follow and hit around $40k. That’s not a good sign.

Honestly, all these predictions are just guesses. If things crash, it's mostly because the market's bearish this year.

Not sure what that stablecoin metric means. But with more traders entering the space, stablecoins will grow. It’s just how it is.

I'm kinda torn on this. A significant drop in ETH would hurt Layer 2s too. What news could tank ETH to $1,200? And if it does, where’s BTC at?

Yeah, things aren't looking great. The market's shaky and almost everything is red. Even if I don't trust analysts, ETH's price action is worrying.

Keep your entry points based on charts. ETH could drop to $800 if Bitcoin goes below $40k. Best to accumulate slowly, don't wait for the bottom.

Within a few years, USDT will probably surpass ETH in value. It might just be a matter of time.

If this happens, it's more about how traders trust stablecoins, not just a drop in ETH.

I think ETH's slowly losing value. Should've been around $5000 by now but didn’t get the hype like Bitcoin.

ETH hasn’t performed well in the previous years. There’s a lot more competition now from other networks like Solana.

For ETH to drop like that, BTC would need to drag it down first. The situation’s concerning with all this war talk.

So, don’t be shocked if ETH just sits there with no new ATHs for years. It’s just being used for staking right now.

Stablecoin dominance doesn’t mean ETH will fall. They’re just getting a lot of investment. It’s a profitable business.

Even with more transactions on ETH, demand isn’t rising much. Most activity seems spammy. Stablecoins are really overshadowing it now.

Been checking ETH's structure and if BTC drops 70-80%, we could see ETH at $1.2k. Needs confirmation though.

Could be right. If BTC stays bearish, ETH will likely follow. Demand for altcoins is weak right now.

If USDT overtakes ETH, it’ll be a first. We’ve talked about this happening and now it seems real.

In this bear market, anything’s possible. You mentioned ETH above $2k, and look at it now. It’s all unfolding.
