So, El Salvador is diving into Bitcoin mining using geothermal energy from volcanoes. 100% green energy, pretty wild, huh?

Changed the title here to spark some talk. Looks like they’re serious about this geothermal mining thing. Just saw on the president’s Twitter that construction has started.

Clean energy mining seems like the future, but let’s be real, Bitcoin mining consumes a ton of energy. There are still issues to work out.

Originally, they talked about 3 MW, but now it’s up to 95 MW? Wow, that’s quite the jump. Wonder how long it'll take to get that online.

Nayib Bukele seems to be making real changes. He’s tackling gangs and extortion, but he also knows the economy needs a boost. Perfect timing with this idea, tbh.

I hope they hurry up, we need colo facilities for miners of all sizes. Big players might swoop in and take over if they move quickly.

With all the negative mining news from China, miners might be more interested in El Salvador if they offer cheap rates. Bukele seems to have a plan.

Talked to some hosts in green spots like Iceland and Canada, and they’re all full. It’s tough for smaller miners! Let’s hope El Salvador opens up fast.

I’m skeptical they can scale up quickly. I see Chinese miners heading to Texas instead. At least it's cheaper there... I doubt El Salvador can keep up.

Using clean energy is smart, but I worry it won’t happen soon. They need tech upgrades and a solid mining setup first.
