Check this out. Those exchange notifications about a coin skyrocketing? They're often a trap. You see a coin rise 10x in hours, and exchanges are like, "Buy now!" But it’s usually a disaster waiting to happen.

Totally agree. Every time a new coin hits the market, exchanges hype it up. People rush in thinking they’re getting in on the next big thing. But they often end up getting rekt when the big holders sell off.

Research is key, especially now with so many scams. I see notifications of wild price changes, but I never see them recommending purchases. Where are you getting those alerts, anyway?

Yeah, altcoins used to be more reliable when they got listed on major exchanges. Now it feels like listing is just a marketing stunt. They charge a fortune for that.

Right? Exchanges just want to keep us trading. They’ll send alerts about price changes, but we really should be more skeptical. I think a lot of seasoned users just ignore those notifications.

New projects always come with a pump and dump vibe. Exchanges can make newbies think it's legit just because it’s on a regulated platform. It’s sad to see people get burned.

Promoted coins usually mean they aren’t seen as valuable assets. Do your homework to see if it’s a solid investment or just another shitcoin. Stick with what you know, like Bitcoin.

Exchanges are businesses first. They don’t care if you lose money. If you wanna invest smart, research is critical. Don’t just trust one source; get all the info you can.

Seriously, those notifications can be total bait for retail investors. They tell you a coin is trending after it hits the peak. Most of the time, it’s just going to crash.

I ignore those alerts. If I don’t recognize a coin, I won’t waste my time. I do my research beforehand and keep track of projects. Notifications are just noise to me.

Yeah, I’ve noticed that too! By the time exchanges alert us, the coin has already pumped. Greedy traders rush in and then boom, the price crashes. It’s wild.

Exactly! Following hype is a bad strategy. Do your research before jumping into anything. Knowledge is power, especially in this volatile market.

Those trending notifications are just a way to get people to trade more. They know people fear missing out. It’s not about helping us; it’s about keeping their volume up.

I get those notifications, but I just scroll past. Shitcoins are not worth my time. I stick with Bitcoin because it’s proven.

You’re spot on. Exchanges push those alerts to boost activity, not because the coins are worth buying. I always do my own research first.

So true. Many traders buy without thinking, chasing after hype. It’s a tactic developers use to lure in investors. Always do your research.

I get alerts when prices drop, but I know better than to buy right away. Those drops are often manipulated. It’s risky business.

Sometimes I wonder if exchanges are in cahoots with coin developers. They promote coins so aggressively, leading people to think they’re solid investments.

Yep! I ignore most notifications. Investing based on them is just reckless. Exchanges are all about making money, not about helping traders.

Notifications are a double-edged sword. They might seem helpful, but thorough research is what really matters. Don’t get caught in the hype.
