So here’s a thought. People connect jobs like teachers and nurses to their core tasks, right? But being a trader is totally different. We’re kinda like poets. We need to be in that curious mindset rather than just trading all the time.
Do traders need to trade regularly?

True, if you’ve made a trade, you’re a trader! But if you just analyze and don’t act, you're an analyst. Trading is about taking risks, not just studying the market.
Trading is a choice, not an obligation. If you’re a trader, do it when it feels right. Or if you think investing is better, go for that instead. Just keep improving your skills.
lol sounds like some are trying to dodge the trading part @JaanusRaim you can study all day, but if you never trade, you’re not a trader. Just an analyst with a lot of opinions.
Trading is way more than just buying and selling. It’s a whole process. You need to analyze, decide, and calculate before jumping in. It’s not random.
New traders often feel pressured to trade all the time and end up losing money because of bad setups. It’s better to wait for the right opportunities, you’ll end up more profitable.
That mindset is why so many lose money. Sure, you can call yourself a trader, but if you don’t know how to trade smart, you’re just setting yourself up for failure.

Trading isn't a 9 to 5 gig. It takes patience, practice and understanding the markets. Full-time traders have years of experience. Newbies need to learn before jumping in.

This is just getting overly complicated. If you swap coins, you’re trading. The platforms show price charts, so just because you analyze doesn’t mean you're not trading.

Your job is to trade... profits aren’t going to magically appear. You need to pull the trigger on opportunities. You’re just playing with definitions at this point.
Actually, those doing the heavy analysis are called analysts. Traders make the moves. If you’re not executing trades, you're definitely missing the point.
But if you evaluate an opportunity and then trade, you’re still trading. It’s all about recognizing the right moment, whether to buy or sell.
Stop separating analysis from trading. It’s all part of the same game. If all you do is analyze without trading, then you're not really a trader.
Some people really get the market but freeze during trades. Real learning happens when you dive in and trade for real, not just through studies.

If you're focused solely on trading, then that's what you should do. But working a regular job and trading is valid too. Just remember, it’s tough!

yep agree, real traders don’t just click buttons constantly. They observe and wait for the perfect setup. Like hunting, patience is key.

You make a good point, but if traders don't trade, what are they doing? Sure, they shouldn't trade just any time. Good setups matter.
Frequency of trading doesn’t define you as a trader. It’s all about strategy and timing. You can trade little but still be a trader.
This market is brutal. Not everyone can stick around once things get rough. Make sure to analyze before you jump in.
Doing research is essential, but you gotta take action eventually. No one can be a successful trader sitting on the sidelines.
