Hey everyone,
I’ve been digging into immersion cooling lately and I’m curious about these two Bitmain models. Are the S21 HYD and S21 Pro basically the same hardware but just have different cooling setups and tuning? Like, are the chips different or is it just that the HYD version is cranked up for a higher hashrate?
If they are different, I’d really appreciate any insights on what sets them apart. Thanks!

So the Antminer S21 Hyd has 335Th and the S21 Pro hits 234Th. I saw that the review mentioned they share the same chips, but the boards differ and that changes how many chips each has.
Check out these links for more info:

S21 Pro review
They both run on BM1368PB chips, but the difference lies in the number of chips. The S21 Pro has 108 on each board, totaling 324. S21 HYD, however, packs in 216 chips per board, adding up to 648.
And just a heads up about your mention of immersion cooling, it’s different from hydro/water cooling, just so you know.
Always good to keep that in mind.
