Looking for some tips from the mining pros. Got a chance to rent a warehouse, around 90 square meters. Two windows on both sides to help with airflow. Power setup is 350KW.
Planning to fit in about 100 S19 units. The yearly temp goes from 0 to 15 degrees.
Do you think 90m² is enough for 100 of these units or am I pushing it?
Also, should I use a 16A breaker per S19 or a 32A for two? Appreciate any input!
Need more info but seems tight on space and airflow.
How big are your windows? Can you fit big, loud fans in there?
What's the humidity like? High humidity plus open windows? Recipe for disaster unless you chill the air.
What’s the layout? Open space can cool better than a narrow rectangle.
What's the ceiling height? Heat rises, so spacing them out can help a bit.
Anything nearby that might make noise a problem? Just curious.
You can't fit 100 miners in there, forget it.
80-90 is more like it. 350 x 0.8 = 280 KW once you factor in safety.
If each S19 uses about 3kW that's around 93 units max. Cooling is a whole other ball game. An S19 kicks out 450-500 CFM.
So that's 45,000 CFM minimum for exhaust. You might need three of these fans, also some intakes.

Here’s a bit more detail: Windows are 1.5m x 1.5m. Humidity is at 80%, but cold air. The space is basically an open square.
Ceiling is at 7m. Nothing nearby for sound issues.

So the setup could be: air in from the wall openings, two big evaporator coolers, then the exhaust fans.
Do the miners need to be in a straight line or...?

I found an airflow calculator on this article. It’s complicated, but rule of thumb: 1 square foot per S19 seems to work. So for 100 miners, that’s 100 sq. ft or 10 m².
If your windows aren’t cutting it, consider awning intakes.
Given your humidity and cold air, watch out for condensation.
I'd suggest looking into a mining container instead.
Regulations are cracking down in many places, and some friends have had to relocate. They regretted not considering containers, which can be cheaper than fixing up a bunch of facilities.

100 ASICs is the minimum for a container for transport within or between nearby countries.
Cost for a new one can hit you hard unless you find a used model. Even in my area with cheap power, landlords hike prices once they know miners are interested.
I think you gotta rethink space. More space means fewer headaches.
100 Antminers is no small feat, you’ll need room for things like rodents or electrical issues.
Plus, you want your setup to rely more on renewable sources, but that takes batteries. So space is key. A warehouse beats a container any day.
