BlockChair released a site focusing on Bitcoin's security budget. Honestly, EVERYONE needs to check it out, especially with all this chatter about network funding issues.

I dig BlockChair. They prioritize user privacy way more than other explorers. Their educational content on Bitcoin privacy has been solid for years.

This site feels more like FUD than anything else. Seriously, bumping the block size by 100 times? That's gonna centralize Bitcoin like Ethereum and Solana.

The whole Security Budget hype is just another FUD. It's like the quantum computer scare or those silly kidnapping claims if you hold BTC. If you really look into it, the so-called issue doesn't exist. Pierre Rochard had a good tweet about it recently.

I just don’t trust the info on this new site. A 100x block size increase sounds too extreme. It’d let too many people bloat the blockchain, and they don’t even mention how miners know a 51% attack would crash Bitcoin’s price.

Yeah, I worry too about miners getting too centralized. Small miners can’t profit anymore. Imagine the government bribing them to censor transactions instead of outright destroying the market.

Not convinced. If Bitcoin's price stagnates post-halving, we could be looking at serious issues down the road, similar to the Block Size Wars. But hey, if you think it’s just FUD, cool.

What’s with all the panic? The price has always kept up, so why worry? It’s like saying the sky is falling just because a storm's coming.

with security, Bitcoin really has a handle on things. The whole point of Bitcoin is to avoid centralization issues in finance. It's a solid solution if used properly.

Bitcoin’s blockchain is the best for security. If someone thinks otherwise and goes exploring for alternatives, they might end up scammed. Don’t fall for flashy ads about altcoins.

Panic? Nah, it’s time to actually pay attention to this potential future problem. Just ignoring issues? That’s not a strategy.

Someone named b10c pointed out that some pools are censoring transactions. Transactions are taking longer than usual to be confirmed. Just because the price is high doesn’t mean everything’s fine.

Past performances don’t guarantee future results. No two market cycles are the same, and as Bitcoin grows, returns may slow down. There's a site with interesting data on Bitcoin's price doubling times.

Look at the bigger picture. Sure, there will be price drops. But with central banks printing money, some of that cash will eventually flow into Bitcoin as a store of value.

Calling this FUD is just lazy. People like Nikita from BlockChair are genuinely worried and calling for protocol changes. Just dismissing everything as FUD ignores real risks.

F2Pool's censoring brings up a valid point. If they’re filtering transactions, are they really acting in the network's interest anymore? This could lead to bigger issues.

There's a core developer who said we might hit two more halvings before this is a real issue. Quoting Pierre Rochard? Come on, he’s not even a core dev.

I see your point, but F2Pool’s actions aren’t breaking any protocols. You talked about nodes, but you meant miners. A different pool can provide higher rewards without censorship.

You’re ignoring my argument. If signs of trouble are there, we should be concerned. If there are no signs, we shouldn’t ignore possible issues. All this talk of quantum attacks is just FUD from the altcoin gang.
