Greg, what you said is just wild. I had to take a screenshot because it’s so absurd. This totally deserves its own thread. You mentioned BIP110 would confiscate coins under certain conditions, but can you point to any guide on how to erase your private keys after tying them into some crazy scheme with Taproot? Like, something that predates the BIP110 announcement?

BIP110 is a real issue, man. This stuff has been known since at least 2016, especially with Zcash being a prime example. The scary part is that we have no clue what’s going to be blocked in the future. You might end up asking people if they understand your scripts just to avoid getting rekt. This goes against the whole point of Script, which was meant to let nodes handle future scripts even if they don’t get them. BIP110 is pushing us into a box.
