Woke up to news that over 30 million BGB tokens got burned. If you've been around for a while, you know this is a good sign for the project.

True, but the original supply matters too. After the burn, there are still tons of coins left. BGB's 30 million is just 2.5% of 1.2 billion, so still about 1.17 billion left.

Thanks for the input! But do you think these burns will really boost both projects in the long run?

No clue about current prices, but I remember BNB was around 580 bucks. What's BGB at now?

It's sitting at $4.34 right now. BNB is still over $500, like 588. So yeah, BGB might be undervalued compared to BNB.

You gotta factor in the total supply and market value when burning. BNB's been around longer, so they’ve burned a lot more tokens over time.

Exactly, there are too many variables to compare them directly. I usually check prices of Solana, BNB, and ETH, but I’ll take a look at BGB too.

Not really a fair comparison. BNB has a well-established ecosystem, while BGB is just starting out. BNB’s burns are way more significant in value.

Good point! But I think BGB has potential too. Just not sure if it can keep up with BNB's growth.

BGB's utility is mainly on Bitget, while BNB has a broader reach. It’s like comparing apples to oranges.

I heard BGB will have quarterly burns, about 10% of the circulating supply each year. That could help its price grow.

#12 Dec 10, 2021, 08:11 PM Yeah but what do you actually get from BGB? I prefer Solana for staking rewards. BGB just feels like a gamble.

#13 Dec 10, 2021, 08:21 PM I’m still leaning toward BNB. It has blockchain utility that BGB lacks. If BNB gets hyped up, its price will soar.

#14 Dec 11, 2021, 02:26 AM I see your point, but being an ERC-20 token gives BGB some advantages too, like security and broader acceptance.

#15 Dec 11, 2021, 05:04 PM BGB's getting a lot of buzz lately, but honestly, it’s no match for BNB. The team behind BGB isn't as solid.

#16 Dec 12, 2021, 04:22 AM BGB's utility is limited while BNB can be used across various platforms. BNB's definitely the stronger option.

#17 Dec 12, 2021, 04:57 AM Bitget is a new player, but I thought BGB would be a contender. I didn’t expect it to rise so fast.

#18 Dec 14, 2021, 12:38 PM Not sure that just one burn makes it better than BNB. Binance has been burning for years, and it adds up.

#19 Dec 16, 2021, 04:27 AM But you can’t say BGB has no utility just because it’s an ERC-20. It still has its uses, just different from BNB.

#20 Dec 16, 2021, 07:22 AM Yeah but BNB is a whole different level. Comparing them is like comparing a token to a full blockchain project.
