Yeah, most of the time, only the nodes your wallet connects to could know your IP and link it. Once a transaction is out there, they can't trace it back to you. Just share your goal with us to help you better.
If privacy is a big deal, consider running your own node and use a VPN.
Sounds like you're worried about online threats that could mess with your device. If someone has your public IP, they might try to hack you, but that only works if they find open ports. Best practice for holding BTC long-term? Keep it offline in a cold wallet.
As far as I know, IPs are just tied to your devices for routing online. They won't tell you anything about your Bitcoin wallet, even if you're running a node. Transactions go through nodes that validate them, not tied to your device like that.

Are you sure you mean "wallet"? Or are you thinking of an address?
Even then, it only works with some custodial wallets. No chance of finding a non-custodial wallet address with just an IP since personal data isn't saved.
Do you wanna locate the address or the IP? What’s your goal? Sounds like you might want to find the holder's wallet location. But transactions are kinda secretive. Servers send out data packets to get your balance, but they don’t expose sources. You’ll notice this in Electrum’s loading area.
Your question is pretty vague, which makes it tough to answer. Sometimes when folks say "wallet," they mean "account" like the ones on Coinbase.
Regular users can't track down a wallet from an IP, but centralized services do log users' IPs and link them to wallets.
