Hey folks,
I got a decent solar setup on my roof, 25 kWp. Selling energy back to the grid gives me around 0.07 EUR per kWh, which is not bad.
I was thinking about mining with a 1300W ASIC. I could run it for about 2200 hours a year since sometimes the sun doesn’t shine enough. If I go with an 800W model, I can squeeze it up to 2750 hours. But if I ramp it up to 3kW, I’d drop to just 1900 hours.
So, do you think there's any chance I could make a small profit here? What about the ROI?
And which ASIC would be a good fit for my situation?
Can I Profit from Small Scale Mining with Solar Power?

Ppl often underestimate how much power ASICs actually need, so keep that in mind.

Thanks for the heads up! I’ll look into the efficiency ratings more closely.
