Been thinking a lot about Bitcoin lately. Seems like it's mostly used for scams, money laundering, you name it. Is that really what it was created for? All I hear is how it’s gonna change the world but it feels like it's just tied to the dollar.
Not true at all. Bitcoin has a public ledger that anyone can check. Every transaction is traceable if you know where to look. If you’re saying otherwise, what’s your proof? Also, claiming everyone you know got scammed is just ridiculous. It happens with cash too.
For real, the amount of scams with Bitcoin is minor compared to what's happening with traditional finance. Plus, tons of studies show this. Can you explain how you came to your conclusion?
Dafuq? Bitcoin’s price is going up, we’re getting richer, what's hard to understand? Sure, people get scammed but that happens whether you're using cash or cards. Doesn’t mean those are scams too. Just sayin’.
Many technologies get misused, but that doesn’t mean they were made for that. Most Bitcoin transactions are legit, and its blockchain can actually offer more transparency than old-school banking if you analyze it properly.
Come on, we’re not in 2013 anymore. The US has a lot of wealthy people, so your theory is a stretch. Sounds kinda childish and not well thought out, tbh.
I get how frustrating it is, but Bitcoin isn’t beating the financial system. It’s more like the financial system is absorbing it. History shows if you just hand out money, only a few keep it and get rich.
If you’re just echoing other people’s views without understanding Bitcoin, then don’t put that on the rest of us. Your points seem superficial and easy to debunk. Time to update your info, Bitcoin is definitely the future.
Yeah, but people said that after Bitcoin peaked in 2017 too. It’s like controlled media spun that narrative. The community keeps growing despite the noise. We know Bitcoin’s potential, especially now with geopolitical issues.
What truth are you talking about? Either you don’t get BTC or you’re just trolling. People have been stealing cash forever, but that’s cool? Yet Bitcoin is the bad guy? It has a public blockchain; it’s not easy to commit crimes with it.
It’s all about what you believe in. Money and economics are subjective. Bitcoin and the dollar are different beasts. I don’t see Bitcoin replacing the dollar anytime soon; that’ll take time and evolution.
Exactly. Bitcoin and fiat are totally different. The US can print unlimited dollars, but Bitcoin requires a process and is actually deflationary. The dollar is where the real scam is, used in tons of money laundering. Just look at politicians.
