AvalonMiner 851 Review and Setup Tips

Let’s talk about the AvalonMiner 851. It claims to hit 14.5 Th/s using that 16nm chip tech. Pretty wild huh? Anyone already got their hands on one? I’m curious about the power consumption too, 1450W doesn’t sound too bad but... is it worth it? By the way, how’s the unpacking process? Easy or not?

Yeah I’ve seen some reviews. The setup seems straightforward, just plug it in and set up the controller. Also, there’s a nice video on Canaan’s site showing all the features. Definitely makes it look easy. If anyone has used it, drop your thoughts on the performance. I’ve heard mixed stuff. Some say it’s stable, others mention issues with heat.

Performance wise, it can really depend on the conditions. +1 on the ease of setup but I’d love to see real-world numbers. Also... anyone got a video review for the 921 or 941? I think that’d help too, since some folks might be looking at alternatives.
