First off, setup was pretty straightforward. Everything you need is right in the box, but don’t forget other essentials for mining.
The unpacking was cool, pretty standard. The miner feels solid, and I was excited to test it out.
After setting it up, I noticed the noise levels were decent. On the 30th speed setting, it's quite manageable.
In winter, my mining room gets colder, so I’m expecting better performance. During the day I’m at around 880th and morning time hits about 910th.
Definitely agree it’s more tolerable compared to other miners. The PSU fan is quieter than the miner itself which is a plus.
I’ve tried different rigs, and for sound, I’d say A1041 at 30-31 speed is the best for indoor use. Can’t beat that.

These machines do need to stay cool. I got a noticeable boost in efficiency when I managed to drop my inlet temp to 38 C.
Quick question. How do I reset this thing back to factory settings? I’ve tried holding the reset button for ages.
To reset, hold the left button for a bit, then hit the right button. Should work, trust me.
Nah, my buddy had to contact support for his. It’s more than just holding buttons, you gotta power cycle it right.
Got it, I’ll try that. Thanks for the tips!
FYI, I sold my A1041 to a friend and it got damaged during shipping. Gotta pack better next time.
By the way, I’m in talks with Canaan for reviewing their A1246 model. Expecting some cool updates soon!
