I've noticed more and more trading bots popping up lately. Lots of exchanges even offer them for free. But honestly, if they're so easy and effective, why aren’t they super popular? You’re basically doing all the work, just letting the bot execute trades based on your settings. If your strategy is bad, the bot just keeps losing money... Sounds frustrating.

Honestly, trading bots have been a topic here for ages. Some say they can be profitable, but not every bot is worth your time. The good ones need creators who really know their stuff. Most bots out there are just scams or way overhyped, so watch out.

I've been using some bots on Bybit and they’re doing alright. Had one liquidation, but overall they’re making me decent profit. I prefer it over manual trading, for sure.
Scams are definitely a problem with bots. You’re right about needing knowledgeable creators. It’s a sketchy space.
One big plus of trading bots is that you don’t need to sit in front of your screen all day. You can set it up and live your life. But if your strategy isn’t solid, you’re not gonna profit, just like regular trading.

If you wanna understand how the bot trades, you really need to learn how it works first. Just jumping in without any knowledge is a recipe for losses. Bots are only as good as the user, ya know?

Bots focus on technical analysis, like trends and market highs and lows. But what about fundamental analysis? They don’t really do that, and technicals can be misleading.

True, all bots are just following someone’s strategy. If you can’t read the market yourself, you’re not really a trader, just an investor hoping the bot doesn’t fail.
A lot of traders expect quick returns with bots. Setting one up can be tricky if you don’t know what you’re doing.
Honestly, I don’t even get who uses bots. I have time to trade myself, so why bother with a bot? Maybe people with busy lives could benefit if they set their parameters properly.
Bots have their perks, but you need a solid strategy. If the creator or user lacks expertise, then losses are likely.

For real, if you wanna trade, just learn how to do it yourself. The only bot I tried was a simple one on KuCoin for averaging. Didn't stick with it because it felt too basic.

Yeah, if some bot could really bring huge profits, we’d hear more stories about it. Most of these claims are just too good to be true.

For sure, these bots follow historical data but can’t predict future movements accurately. They’re not as reliable as a skilled trader.
Bots are great for timed trades, but I’d rather do copy trading than trust a bot to analyze the market for me. At least then I can blame someone else if things go south.

I really think trading is best done manually. Bots can’t adapt in real-time. Setting parameters can be dangerous if conditions change in the market.

If trading bots are so profitable, why aren’t more people raving about them? Seems like they just appeal to lazy newbies.
Good point. Bots do all the work but they’re limited by the strategies set by their creators. Users are basically betting on these bots to manage their trades.
Are we talking about bots that trade automatically or AI that analyzes and trades? AI is getting better, but there’s still a lot of hype around it.
Yeah, I get that bots can help, but they make you lazy. You’re giving someone else control over your money while you sit back.
