Anyone checked how mining stocks did in past halvings? I’m looking at 3: MARA, BITF, RIOT. What’s gonna happen to them after the halving? Heard BITF is super efficient. But MARA has a massive stash with over 13k BTC compared to BITF’s 385. RIOT’s got like 7k. But it’s not just about holding BTC, right? BITF has some cool tech too.

Investing in these seems risky though. Every 4 years, more difficulty and profits can dip after the halving. Mining stocks’ prices pretty much follow Bitcoin. Last month, both have been climbing, but is that gonna last?

True, rising Bitcoin prices might keep companies from selling their stash. Bitfarms (BITF) is kinda safe from interest rate cuts thanks to its debt situation. But I’d say just buying Bitcoin and investing in MARA could be a quick win... not financial advice tho.

Nah, I wouldn’t touch those stocks. I’d rather mine it myself. If that’s out of reach, just buy coins directly.

Same here, I prefer buying Bitcoin instead of mining stocks. They’re vulnerable to price drops and regulations. Buying Bitcoin feels way safer. But I am curious about investing in a mining setup... buying shares is not the same as getting into actual mining ops. Totally different risks involved.

Cloud mining is a tricky business. Most small miners can’t get cheap ASICs or power like the big players. It’s a tough market. People gotta decide if they wanna buy BTC or mining stocks. Stocks are regulated, easier to buy given there’s no Bitcoin ETF.

I think some mining companies might offer profit-sharing if you invest in actual hardware. Cloud mining is definitely a hot topic; these stocks can give you BTC exposure without actually buying it. Seems like a cool option for some.
