Before all this mess, most of us saw currencies just as money to trade with, right? But now, it seems they’re being used as tools for political games. It’s like currencies have become weapons in global conflicts, influencing sanctions and stuff.
Are currencies being used as weapons?

Exactly, like the dollar is a big player worldwide. Countries that control these currencies can really mess with others just by hitting ‘sanction’ or freezing funds. It's geopolitics at its finest.

I get that but I think it goes beyond just currency. It’s more about who holds power. A country doesn’t need the strongest currency to make an impact. Just like if A needs something from B, and B’s got it, B can easily play hardball.
Right on. The US has pushed a lot of countries to re-evaluate their ties because of that. Once you feel the heat, sympathy starts to fade fast.
But the dollar is tough to beat since it’s the world’s reserve currency. It’s got a stronghold since the US bounced back after the Great Depression. Countries don't wanna hand over control to someone else.
Fiat currency feels like it’s designed for conflict. It’s all about spending for war, while pretending everything’s fine. People act like fiat is the holy grail but it’s really just a tool for more wars.

Manipulating currencies isn’t new news, right? Strong currencies help importers but might hurt exporters. It’s like a way to show where your economy stands globally. The dollar has dropped under bad leadership, which just pushes people to look for alternatives.
Bitcoin changes the game though. You can't weaponize it since nobody controls it. It’s hard to fund wars using Bitcoin, now that’s peace for you.

Simple logic here: when powerful nations use their currency to control others, those nations naturally seek alternatives. Instead of relying on one system, they're forming their own trade networks. It’s all about survival when money's a weapon, folks will definitely find new ways to do business.
