Didn’t see that crash coming. It’s been a rollercoaster this week for sure, but I shorted Bitcoin on a perpetual DEX and ended up with +241%. Crazy right? I wonder what really caused this dump... Heard some say it’s about banks attacking crypto, while others blame Binance and maybe Epstein news too. Seems like it all piled on and led to this panic.
Anyone know why Bitcoin just dumped?

Right? This dump was nuts. But hey, props to you for nailing the short. That’s why planning and managing risk is key, even if we don’t know why things are moving.
Honestly, I had no plan. Just reacted to the market sentiment and shorted it. Luck was on my side this time, haha.
People are selling off 'cause everything is so unstable globally. Too much chaos and the media just makes it worse. A lot of folks feel uneasy about crypto lately. Will things get better? Hope so.

In my experience, big drops like this can mean great trading opportunities. Lots of market movements to exploit, you just need to guess right. If it bounces back, you could be sitting on a goldmine.
Totally feel this. This drop definitely feels manipulated. We’ve been on a long rally without any major corrections. Supports are weaker, and that just screams bubble to me.
Humans are so emotional about trading. It’s like they can’t think straight. Just watch them react, and you can usually time your moves perfectly.
So you just shorted without any real analysis? Sounds a bit like gambling to me, not trading.
Look, Bitcoin is super volatile. You can’t expect it to just sit still. Those who’ve been around know how to hold their ground during bear markets. We should expect those swings all the time.
Exactly. The excitement of wild jumps and crashes is what keeps Bitcoin interesting. But it’s also a gamble. People love to bet on prices without thinking about the bigger picture.
If you’re trading based on pure emotion like you said, that’s risky. If you're rushing without analyzing the market, it just feels like gambling.
Congrats on that win! But don’t kid yourself about the dump being from some coordinated attack. It was all about overleveraged longs getting liquidated. Classic move.
Yeah, when you see a big drop like that, check the funding rates. It’s all about how leveraged the market is. Panic selling happens, but those funding rates tell the real story.

True! People get too greedy, thinking they can beat the market. They end up losing a ton when their positions get liquidated.

Fear runs the market. Retail traders panic, selling off to drive the price down, while the big players scoop up Bitcoin on the cheap. It's a vicious cycle.
I mean, nobody really knows why it dumped so hard. So many theories flying around. Just another day in crypto, lol.

Right! 241% profit is wild though. But yeah, it seems all theories are just speculative. Fear and liquidations, that’s the real culprit.
I’m usually more of a holder. Shorting isn't my thing, but this one felt right. I just went with my gut, didn’t bother with charts or analysis. Psychology of the market told me to do it.
Watch out though! Trading on gut feelings can be risky, especially in a volatile market. Next time, better to have a solid plan.
He did well this time, no doubt. But he might wanna rethink his strategy in the long run. Just saying.
