Thought I'd start a thread to gather all the info about solo mining in one place. If you know of any other pools or topics that should be included, please drop them here.
So far, we have:
**Solo CK pool**
- Link: solo.ckpool.org
- No need to register, no fees for pool wallets
- 2% fee, and miners get transaction fees
- Servers in the USA and maybe Germany
**Kano pool**
- Link: kano.is

Not trying to be rude, but if my pool isn’t in your list, that’s cool. But linking to a thread where someone is badmouthing my pool and encouraging hacks? Not cool at all.

In his post, he shared the entire user list from my pool. That info should be private and he ignored my requests to take it down. Had to get a mod involved. Just nonsense.

And yeah, MRR’s pricing is wild… crazy high! Respect for the work you put into your pool and Gekkos software.
NiceHash has some solo mining options now. You can buy hashrate packages, called EasyMining.
You can spend from $2 to $200 in BTC for a chance to get a block reward. Basically, they pay out directly to your wallet.
But here’s the thing…
1) Cheaper hashrate rentals
OR
2) Paying miners better
You can’t do both. If you’re paying more than pools, then renting hashrate will be pricey. So, which way is it?
