Advice on Setting Up a Mini Mining Farm

Thinking about setting up a mini mining farm. Got a chance to rent some warehouse space with a solid 600a 3 phase service. Currently running 3 ASICs at home and I'm out of power. Anyone have a good guide for beginners? I’ve looked into hot/cold rooms and ventilation.

If you're in the US, just make enough 30amp breakers for your miners. There's no one-size-fits-all for airflow, but definitely separate the hot and cold areas. And be careful, mining unattended can lead to fires. Get monitoring sensors to catch issues early.

You can find several threads here with solid info on small farm setups. They go over everything you need. Also, if you’re not filling the whole space at once, don’t stress about hot/cold aisles right away. Just ensure good ventilation.

Yeah, I’m not planning to build out the whole place. I’ve got around 6,500 sq ft but only running 3 ASICs now, with 4 more waiting.

With that space, you won’t need to worry about walls or fancy setups just yet. You have time to play around with a mining room. Simple metal shelving from HomeDepot or Costco with some 2x4s and drywall should do. And invest in a good router and some cameras for remote monitoring.
