For me, ASICs aren’t the best. They shine in BTC mining, but GPUs are better for altcoins. I can't handle those high-power ASICs, but I can build a GPU rig that uses way less energy.

Honestly, the only real threat right now could be quantum computers. I heard that’s why some big institutions are only risking a tiny fraction of their wealth in Bitcoin. It’s becoming a legit concern. A fork or update…
