- Mining Bitcoin via Radio: Is It Feasible?Sep 30, 2019
Wait, no mining rig can actually mine Bitcoin, right? Are you talking about using radio frequencies for it? Maybe you mean helium mining?

Is it possible to mine bitcoin using a radio? Like a HAM radio linked to a mining rig?
I’m scaling up to 400kW, still on the phase decision. Why was 150kW considered "3-phase territory"? Should I go for 3-phase for 400kW?
I’m in the US. Do miners like Antminers run better on higher voltage? That’s why I was aiming for 240v. I keep hearing that a 415/240 volt transformer is ideal, so figured 240 delta was similar.
So you’re saying they can balance the load easier than I think? Also, are you talking about "high-leg delta"? I’m thinking about asking for 240 3-phase in delta.
Is pulling 150kw on single phase a problem for the utility? It seems super unbalanced on their lines.
I've seen this question pop up a few times, but I still can't find a solid answer. I'm looking at a small shop for mining with a 150kw power draw. Talking to the electrician and utility, but they're not super helpful.…
Interesting, I thought only manufacturing businesses got those exemptions. What’s the minimum scale to qualify?
Good point, that’s why I bought some older ASICs to test at home first. Gotta expect higher failure rates. My plan is to use them to ramp up power demand and score lower electric rates.
Wait, this day-ahead index, that's a deal with the energy seller, right? Not ONCOR?
I doubt GPU mining is gonna die anytime soon. There will always be something to mine and they’re super versatile for different tasks. But why are you leaning toward S9s? They're kinda dated, maybe check out newer models…

I’m trying to figure out if I can sell hashrate without getting hit with sales tax... like, is there a loophole or something?
