There are definitely loopholes in the law. Sometimes they can hit you with things retroactively, which is scary.

So I guess I’m in the clear then? I’ve seen altcoins focused on India too, like Laxmi coin. No legal issues that I know of.

There are loads of altcoins, including some in India. No worries unless your coin is a scam or ponzi scheme. Just be legit.

The FBI might be shifting the bitcoins to a safer address. They can’t really trust the BTC-e wallets, so maybe they’re just securing the funds from other access.
